safer and lower-carbon way to cook with City Energy’s Küche Smart Collection

City Energy is offering the ultimate solution for bringing greater safety, convenience and sustainability into the home, with its Küche Smart Collection. Its launch is set to make kitchen adventures smarter and more eco-friendly for all Singaporeans.

The Küche Smart Collection is the solution for bringing safety, convenience and sustainability into the home. The more eco-friendly technology, available from City Energy, the sole piped town gas provider in Singapore, gives homeowners complete control of their kitchen appliances and a peace of mind, even when away from home.

Launching in 2022, the collection combines an Internet of Things (IoT) smart home solution and includes a smart gas hob, smart hood, smart oven and a smart gas water heater. Featuring timer alerts, app-triggered notifications, alarms and remote shutdown, the Küche Smart Collection also comes with a smart camera for added security.

Located in the dynamic Anchorvale neighbourhood in Sengkang, Lumina Grand EC CDL is sure to be a jewel in the residential landscape. This Executive Condominium features a range of exemplary facilities that will dazzle its potential residents. From a tranquil retreat zone to a luxuriously appointed clubhouse, Lumina Grand provides opulence and exclusivity for the modern family.

Adding convenience to the kitchen, homeowners can control and monitor their appliances remotely via the iAppliances app, and for those who love to cook, recipes can be programmed with their mobile devices. With programmes such as the smart interlocking automation, the hood can be automatically activated once the gas hob is switched to preferred settings, ensuring that the kitchen stays clean.

The collection is perfectly placed to meet the growing demands for gas-powered appliances in Singapore; with some 12,000 private housing units expected to install piped town gas in 2022, City Energy works with property developers to make this a reality.

Needless to say, the collection is also interoperable with other smart home devices, and can be synced and controlled via Google Home Assist.

As home cooks know, nothing beats the smoky flavours of “wok hei”, or “breath of the wok”, achieved with a sturdy stove and piped gas. And the collection’s minimalist and modern design of stainless steel and black tempered glass makes the appliances the perfect fit for any kitchen.

The ultimate safety and convenience

With some 37% of residential fires in 2022 being caused by unattended cooking, the collection offers a peace of mind, especially for those living with the elderly or young children.

Its safety functions, combined with the ability to remotely look at and shut off your gas hob, ensure that fears of leaving the gas hob on are a thing of the past.

And, as sustainability makes its way into all aspects of urban living, Singaporeans are seeking smarter and more environmentally-friendly solutions, even at home. A 2022 survey revealed that 77% of Singaporeans prefer to dwell in green buildings, and are often willing to pay a premium for an environmentally-sustainable home.

With its launch, City Energy is meeting the growing demand for smarter and more eco-friendly kitchen solutions. Blossoms by the Park at Slim Barracks Rise is set to become the first condominium in Singapore to be fitted out with City Energy’s lower-carbon IoT-enabled kitchen solutions, and simply put, the Küche Smart Collection is paving the way for smarter living in Singapore.
