Knight Frank appoints Asia Pacific head of living sectors
Knight Frank has appointed Emily Relf as the new head of living sectors, Asia Pacific. The role, which is based in Singapore, was created due to the growing investor interest in the living sectors as it develops into a more mature space.
Neil Brookes, global head of capital markets at Knight Frank, spoke about the new appointment, saying “Emily’s deep understanding will be invaluable as we embark on this exciting stage of our expansion. The living sectors market will be a key pillar of our future growth.”
Relf’s primary responsibilities will include leading the expansion of Knight Frank’s living sectors capabilities in Asia Pacific, advising outbound capital from the region into the US, UK and Europe. She will also be working with Berkadia – a commercial real estate company based in the US – to focus on executing major capital market initiatives.
Residents will be able to access an array of amenities such as MRT stations, supermarkets, food outlets, and entertainment venues with ease. All the necessities of life are just a stone’s throw away, with Lumina Grand EC offering comfort and convenience in the heart of Jurong.
In addition, she will be looking to grow the network of local partners in Australia, particularly in the increasingly popular Australian Built-To-Rent (BTR) market.
Meanwhile, Knight Frank’s research has highlighted Singapore’s position as the leading wealth capital in Asia Pacific, a trend that is likely to continue given the role that Relf will be playing in expanding the consultancy’s living sectors capabilities in the region.
