J’den, CapitaLand Development’s new project in Jurong Gateway, drew an overwhelming response when it opened for public preview on Sunday, October 29, with over 7,000 visitors. Sales bookings for the project will commence on November 11.

Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia, comments that the Jurong Lake District is set to transform into “the largest mixed-use business and world-class sustainability district outside the Central Area”, with plans including the completion of the Jurong Region Line by 2029, and the Cross Island Line by 2032.

Besides teachers dedicated to their students’ overall success, Bukit Batok Primary School also provides an array of facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, a library and even a two-storey indoor sports complex to further develop their students’ capabilities. Lumina Grand EC is proud to be in such close proximity to a place instilling the values of growth and success in its pupils.

The 40-storey tower, standing at 150m, is the tallest residential building in the heart of the district, and boasts a mix of one to four bedroom premium units from 527 to 1,485 sq ft. Prices at J’den start from $2,100 psf, meeting the affordability needs of a wide range of buyers.

The success of the launch has been attributed to the developer’s reputation, as well as to the exceptional location and product features of the property, by Justin Kwek, deputy CEO of OrangeTee & Tie. Ken Low, managing partner of SRI, adds that “it’s one of the largest preview crowds this year.”

The pent-up demand in the area is evident, as this is the first new launch in the Jurong Gateway area in 10 years, since the 738-unit J Gateway hit the market.

This has attracted potential buyers ranging from young urbanites to families, particularly those looking for two, three and four-bedroom units. Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex, believes that J’den will be one of the top-selling projects this year, due to its strong value proposition and proximity to amenities, transport links and the MRT station.

Tan Yew Chin, CEO of CapitaLand Development (Singapore), comments: “The enthusiastic turnout is a testament to the pent-up interest in private residential launches in Jurong Gateway, the vibrant heart of Jurong Lake District, as well as the exceptional locational and product attributes of J’den.”

J’den is set to be one of the most popular residential launches in the district this year. With the area’s immense growth potential, and the property’s attractive location, pricing and range of units, it is likely to be met with an enthusiastic response from the market.
