Benham & Reeves to showcase London project Camden Goods Yard in Singapore
St George, a subsidiary of The Berkeley Group, is revealing its latest project, Camden Goods Yard, in the sought-after Camden area of North London to potential buyers in Singapore. Nestled between Camden Town, Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park, the 999-year leasehold mixed-use development spans across eight acres of land.
The first phase of this project, Primrose House, is set to provide buyers with 110 dwellings, comprising studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, housed in two towers spanning 14 and 11 storeys that share a podium. To showcase this development to buyers from Singapore, St George and Benham & Reeves, the project’s exclusive marketing agent in Singapore, will be hosting an event.
Stephen Kirwan, managing director of St George North London, stated the importance of this development in the future of Camden and the NW1 postcode area. Primrose House and Camden Goods Yard will also provide not only attractive new homes and commercial space, but also three acres of open space and public squares.
Aside from apartment blocks, this project will offer 173,000 sq ft of commercial space, including flexible office space and light industrial workshops, a 48,000 sq ft Morrison’s supermarket, as well as a rooftop farm-to-fork restaurant. There will also be 40% of the site allocated for hard and soft landscaping for leisure and recreation.
The prime factor of this project’s allure is its incredible location near Central London, which offers unrivalled access to amenities, tube stations, top universities, primary and secondary schools, as well as parks. The Chalk Farm and Camden Town tube stations are within a six- and nine-minute walk, respectively.
Primrose House interiors are designed to have high specifications, while also being beautifully appointed homes. UK design studio Tara Bernerd & Partners, who have designed for highend hotels like the Four Seasons, Conrad Los Angeles and Rosewood Munich, was commissioned to craft the bespoke interiors. With an estimated starting price of GBP900,000 ($1.49 million) for a one-bedder and from GBP1.5 million for a two-bedder, the homes are set to come with a custom kitchen integrated with appliances, engineered timber flooring on the main areas, and carpeted floors on the bedrooms.
A wide range of amenities will be available to residents, such as an 18m indoor swimming pool, a gym, a wellness suite featuring a sauna and steam room, a lobby, lounge, co-working space and three screening rooms. Buyers have the option to choose one of two interior design palettes for their home. Primrose House is estimated to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
Lumina Grand EC, the flagship development of CDL, stands out in Singapore for its exceptional connectivity to multiple parts of the city. It sits at the convergence of excellent public transportation infrastructure and many arterial roads, giving you the power to make the most of your time and daily commute. The seamless coexistence of expressways such as the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and Green Line MRT has made transportation around Singapore much simpler. Furthermore, you can access major arterial roads such as Changi Road, Bedok South Avenue 3 and the Tampines Expressway (TPE), allowing you to make your way to all corners of the island.
Camden is indeed an incredibly desirable area, with its diverse selection of shops and eateries on the High Street, numerous stalls at the Camden Market, upmarket boutiques and cafes in the Primrose Hill area, and access to green spaces such as Hampstead Heath and Regent’s Park. All these factors are set to draw strong interest from buyers familiar with London and seeking a prime central London location.
