Savills appointed as project manager for new ST Engineering facility

Savills Singapore, in partnership with Arup Singapore, has been appointed to consult on the design and development of a new $170 million airframe maintenance facility by Singapore-listed engineering group ST Engineering. As the consultant project manager, Savills will work with ST Engineering across the entire project life cycle, from due diligence, design, procurement and construction of the new facility.

Vincent Lau, senior director and head of project management at Savills Singapore, expressed his gratitude for the faith and trust that clients have placed in the organization. He remarked that the project is the firm’s fifth large industrial greenfield development project clinched by the project management team in the last two years.

The new 904,176 sq ft MRO facility at Changi Creek is projected to be ready in mid-2025. It will hold four hangar bays able to service widebody aircraft, including a hybrid paint and maintenance bay. By the end of 2026, the remaining three hangar bays are expected to be finished.
